Split Seconds is Now Out in Paperback and has a new look!

Maggie Thom, Award Winning Author, Speaker, Writing Coach

Split Seconds actually came about when I was writing about Deceitful Truths. As I mentioned here, I had cut many chapters from Deceitful Truths because I had too many twists and turns. Now at the time that I cut them I had no plan to write book 3, I was having a tough time with all the chapters I was deleting though.

And to be honest it was a darn reader who nudged me again. 🙂 After this reader had finished Deceitful Truths they wanted to know some more information about a few characters. This time they wanted to know more about Tarin’s mom in particular. I had hinted at who she was but never went into her story—it was actually one of the parts that I cut. It took you too far out of where I wanted Tarin’s story to go.

The ideas started to flow, so I went back to see what I had cut from Deceitful Truths and really liked where I could go with book 3, so off I went.

This time I really wanted to connect book 2 – Deceitful Truths and Book 3 – Split Seconds. So intertwined Tijan (Split Second) with Tarin (Deceitful Truths) and answered the question about Tarin’s mom.

“A tangled web of secrets, lies and deceit.”

Patricia Terrell, creator of the Novel Business who is also an author under the pen-name P.M. Terrell, did a fabulous job of editing Split Seconds.

But then I had another problem, sadly the woman who had created the original cover for my books had passed away. She did most of my covers. A truly gifted lady.

So now I was on the search for someone to create a brand new cover. I am forever grateful to have found Laura Callender from JustPublisit. A very talented lady who has given new life to the cover and the book. I am thrilled with what she has done.

So now that I’ve had the whole series updated and all fancy, it was time to publish Split Seconds in paperback…

So now for the cover reveal…
