My Review:
I loved this story, April in the Back of Beyond by P.M. Terrell. It is a wonderful story that pulls you into a woman’s journey to discover her family history but you soon realize you are being pulled into something much bigger.
Hayley Hunter arrives in Ireland ready to start her family research but instead finds herself questioned by some locals and snubbed by others. She has no idea why. As the story unfolds, Hayley is soon pulled into something so much deeper than just discovering her family history. To really find answers, she may first have to heal old wounds that run deep through the generations that live there, such that many of their ghosts still haunt the area. To find answers and resolve this quest she didn’t ask for, she may first need to help a mother and her sons reunite on the other side.
A truly well written story that grabs your interest from page one, teaches you a lot of fascinating history and keeps you from realizing the passage of time as you read. Totally engrossing. I highly recommend this read.
